Summary
This study tested a new medicine called SHR-1918, given as a shot under the skin, in people with high cholesterol that was not well controlled by their current statin therapy. About 335 adults took part. The goal was to see if adding SHR-1918 to their usual cholesterol-lowering drugs could lower their LDL ("bad") cholesterol more than a placebo. The study was completed and measured cholesterol changes after 16 weeks.
