New hope for EGPA patients: drug aims to cut steroids and induce remission

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called SHR-1703 in 166 adults with EGPA, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in blood vessels. The goal is to see if the drug can help patients reduce their daily steroid dose and achieve disease remission. Participants must have had EGPA for at least 6 months and be on a stable steroid dose. The trial is currently recruiting.
