New pain block may spare breathing after shoulder surgery

Summary
This study compares two ways to manage pain after shoulder arthroscopy: a standard nerve block (interscalene) and a newer spinal block (cervical erector spinae plane block). The goal is to see which provides better pain relief with fewer breathing problems. About 165 adults having shoulder surgery will take part.
