Scientists probe hidden cause of stroke Survivors' shoulder pain

NCT ID NCT07139665

Summary

This study aimed to understand shoulder problems in people who had a stroke at least six months earlier. Researchers measured the space in the shoulder joint using ultrasound and asked 51 participants about their pain and difficulty using their arm. The goal was to see if a smaller shoulder space is linked to more pain and disability after a stroke.
