NCT ID NCT07229274

First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding movement retraining exercises to standard joint mobilization can better reduce shoulder pain, improve range of motion, and restore function in fast bowlers with a condition called Glenohumeral Internal Rotation Deficit (GIRD). About 42 male cricketers aged 18-45 with mild to moderate shoulder pain will be split into two groups: one gets the new combination therapy, the other gets standard physical therapy plus mobilization. The goal is to find a more effective way to treat this common cricket injury.
