New nerve blocks target debilitating shoulder pain after major chest surgery

Summary
This study aims to find the best way to prevent severe shoulder pain that often occurs after lung cancer surgery (thoracotomy). Researchers will compare two different types of nerve blocks, given alongside standard pain relief, in 75 adult patients. The goal is to see which method is more effective at stopping this common and hard-to-treat pain.
