Summary
This study tested whether a drug called secukinumab, given as an injection, could improve pain and function in adults with persistent, moderate-to-severe shoulder pain from rotator cuff tendinopathy. Participants received either the drug or a placebo injection, along with standard painkillers and physiotherapy, over 16 weeks. The trial was terminated early by the sponsor to focus on other projects, so full results are not available.
