Summary
This study tested whether an injectable drug called secukinumab could reduce pain and improve movement in adults with persistent, painful shoulder tendon problems. It compared the drug against a placebo (dummy) injection, both given alongside standard painkillers and physical therapy. The trial was stopped early by the company to focus on other projects, so results from the small number of participants are limited.
