New shoulder implant study aims to improve joint replacement outcomes

Summary
This study compares two types of shoulder implants for people with shoulder osteoarthritis who need a total shoulder replacement. About 94 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a standard cemented plastic implant or a newer hybrid metal-and-plastic implant. The goal is to see which implant provides better shoulder function and pain relief over time.
