First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two types of shoulder implants in people with shoulder osteoarthritis who need a total shoulder replacement. About 94 participants will receive either a standard cemented plastic implant or a newer hybrid metal-and-plastic implant. The goal is to see which implant leads to better shoulder function and pain relief after surgery.
