Research compares surgery vs. rehab for shoulder fractures

NCT ID NCT07368725

Summary

This study looked back at 100 adults with shoulder fractures that also damaged their rotator cuff. Researchers compared patients who healed with just 6 months of physical therapy against those who needed surgery. The goal was to understand how these fractures affect shoulder movement and to find better ways to measure the injury using 3D computer models.
