Could shorter steroid treatment work better for kidney patients?

NCT ID NCT07151456

Summary

This study tests whether a shorter 12-week steroid treatment works as well as the standard 24-week treatment for adults with a specific kidney condition called steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome. Researchers want to see if the shorter treatment reduces the chance of the disease returning. The trial will include 224 adults who haven't had previous steroid treatment for kidney disease.
