Study tests cutting steroid treatment time in half for kidney patients

NCT ID NCT07151456

Summary

This study compares two steroid treatment lengths for adults with a specific kidney condition called steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome. Researchers want to see if a 12-week steroid course works as well as the standard 24-week treatment at preventing the disease from returning. The trial will enroll 224 adults who haven't had previous steroid treatment for kidney disease.
