Shorter radiation course aims to ease recovery for throat cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07044635

Summary

This study is testing a shorter, lower-dose schedule of radiation therapy for people with HPV-linked throat cancer who have already had surgery. The main goal is to see if this approach can control the cancer just as well while improving patients' quality of life by reducing treatment time and side effects. It will enroll 42 adults who are at intermediate risk of their cancer returning.
