Faster radiation for lung cancer: can fewer sessions bring the same relief?

Summary

This study is testing a shorter, more intense radiation schedule to help control symptoms in people with advanced lung cancer. It compares six higher-dose treatments given every other day to the standard twelve treatments. The main goal is to see if the shorter schedule is safe and works as well to ease symptoms and maintain quality of life.
