Faster radiation treatment tested for lung cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06483308

Summary

This study is testing a shorter, more intense radiation schedule to see if it is as safe and effective as the standard longer treatment for people with advanced lung cancer. It aims to provide symptom relief (palliative care) more quickly. Researchers will compare the new 6-treatment schedule over 12 days to the standard 12-treatment schedule over 16 days.
