Mayo clinic tests faster radiation for devastating childhood brain tumor
NCT ID NCT05077735
Summary
This study is testing a new way to deliver radiation therapy for a serious type of brain tumor called diffuse midline glioma. Instead of the standard 6-week treatment, patients receive a shorter, 2-week course. The main goal is to see if this shorter schedule is as effective at controlling the tumor and, importantly, if it improves patients' quality of life compared to the longer treatment.
