Shorter implants tested as alternative to bone grafting
NCT ID NCT04237545
Summary
This study compared short dental implants to standard-length implants for replacing missing back teeth. Researchers followed 106 patients for 4 years to see if shorter implants work as well without needing additional bone grafting procedures. The goal was to determine if shorter implants could be a simpler option for people with limited jawbone height.
