Shorter implants tested as alternative to bone grafting
NCT ID NCT04237545
Summary
This study compared two types of dental implants for replacing missing back teeth. Researchers tested whether shorter implants work as well as standard-length ones over four years, measuring bone health and implant success. The goal was to see if shorter implants could avoid the need for additional bone grafting procedures in some patients.
