First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares a 5-day antibiotic treatment to the usual 7-14 day course for children aged 3 months to 18 years hospitalized with uncomplicated pneumonia. Participants are randomly assigned to either the short or standard treatment and followed up for 14 days.
