Shockwave therapy may ease stubborn hip pain better than standard PT

Summary
This study compares two treatments for a common cause of hip pain called greater trochanteric pain syndrome. Sixty adults with hip pain for at least 3 months will receive either shockwave therapy or standard physical therapy (heat, ultrasound, TENS). The goal is to see which treatment provides better pain relief and improves hip function over 12 weeks.
