First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special shock wave treatment can help people with tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). Fifty-two adults with the condition will receive the therapy, with one group also getting treatment on a specific muscle trigger point. Researchers will measure changes in pain, grip strength, and tendon thickness over four weeks to see if the extra trigger point treatment makes a difference.
