Shock wave therapy may ease tennis elbow pain and boost grip

Summary

This study looks at whether adding shock wave therapy to a trigger point can improve pain, grip strength, and tendon health in people with tennis elbow. About 52 adults will receive standard shock wave treatment to the elbow, with some also getting real or fake shock waves to a trigger point. Researchers will measure changes in pain, hand function, and tendon thickness over 4 weeks.
