Summary
This study tests a new mRNA vaccine (SYS6017) to prevent shingles, a painful rash caused by the chickenpox virus reactivating. About 800 healthy adults aged 40 and older will receive either the new vaccine, a placebo, or an existing shingles vaccine. Researchers will check how well the vaccine boosts the immune system and monitor for side effects.
