Summary
This study tests a new vaccine called Shigella4V2 to see if it can protect healthy adults from shigellosis, a diarrheal disease caused by Shigella bacteria. About 120 volunteers aged 18-50 will receive either the vaccine or a placebo and then be exposed to the bacteria in a controlled setting. The goal is to see if the vaccine reduces the number of people who get sick.
