Summary
This study looked at whether sharing digital self-monitoring data (like weight, activity, and food logs) with a friend or family member helps adults with overweight or obesity lose more weight over 24 months. 322 adults used digital tools to track their progress daily. The goal was to see if extra accountability and support from others improves long-term weight loss success.
