Summary
This study will follow 15,000 people who have had an ischemic stroke (a type of stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain) in Shanghai, China. Researchers aim to learn more about what causes strokes in younger adults, how risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, and air pollution affect outcomes, and how well current treatments work. Participants' medical records and test results will be collected, but no new treatments or drugs are being tested.
