Summary
This study looked at 67 adults with type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease who were starting a type of diabetes medication called SGLT2 inhibitors. Researchers used ultrasound and blood tests to measure changes in liver stiffness, fat, and injury markers before and after 6 months of treatment. The goal was to better understand how these drugs might improve liver health.
