First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether SGLT2 inhibitors, a type of diabetes medicine, can improve anemia in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Anemia is common in CKD and often requires iron or other injections, which have side effects. The trial will measure changes in hemoglobin levels in 60 adults with mild-to-moderate CKD and stable anemia over several weeks.
