Summary
This study is testing whether adding an SGLT2 inhibitor (a type of diabetes medicine) to standard hospital care can improve outcomes for patients with heart failure and sudden kidney injury. Researchers will compare recovery, need for dialysis, and symptom relief between those who get the drug and those who get a placebo. The study involves 130 adults hospitalized with both conditions.
