Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a diabetes medication called dapagliflozin is safe and tolerable when taken for four weeks before prostate removal surgery in men with localized prostate cancer. The study involves 24 participants with intermediate- to high-risk prostate cancer. Researchers will also check if the drug can shrink tumors or cause cancer cell death.
