Summary

This study tests a program called the Sexual Health Empowerment (SHE) Project for women who are about to leave jail. The goal is to improve their understanding of cervical cancer, breast cancer, contraception, and sexually transmitted diseases. About 279 women will take part, and the program uses educational tools to help them make healthier choices after release.
