Summary

This study looks at whether metabolic syndrome reduces blood flow to the brain more in women than in men. Researchers will use MRI scans and exercise tests to measure blood flow and fitness in 72 healthy adults and those with metabolic syndrome. The goal is to understand the role of a specific enzyme (COX) in these sex differences.
