First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a drug called setrusumab in people with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), a condition that causes fragile bones and frequent fractures. The goal is to see if setrusumab can lower the number of broken bones compared to a placebo. About 183 participants with OI types I, III, or IV who have had recent fractures will receive either the drug or a placebo, and researchers will track fracture rates over time.
