New drug aims to slash fracture rate in brittle bone disease

Summary
This study tests a medicine called setrusumab in people with osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). The goal is to see if it can lower the number of bone fractures. About 183 participants with types I, III, or IV of the disease are involved. The study compares setrusumab to a placebo to measure its safety and effectiveness.
