First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study is testing whether adding the drug serplulimab to standard chemotherapy before surgery can help people with esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors more effectively and lower the chance of the cancer coming back. About 48 adults with early-stage but operable esophageal cancer will take part. The approach is exploratory, meaning it's an early step to see if the treatment is safe and worth studying further.
