Summary
This study tested if a series of custom casts could improve arm movement and scar appearance for adults with joint tightness caused by burns. Researchers compared the casting treatment to one week of standard care for 12 participants. The goal was to see if casting could restore motion and if the improvements lasted after the casts were removed.
