Evolutionary strategy takes on tough prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a two-step treatment plan for men with high-risk metastatic prostate cancer. First, patients receive hormone therapy plus a newer drug, followed by chemotherapy. The goal is to improve survival by attacking the cancer in a sequence inspired by how species go extinct. About 32 men will take part in this phase 2 trial.
