First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study tests two treatments for active moderate to severe thyroid eye disease (TAO), a condition that can cause bulging eyes, double vision, and even blindness. One group gets standard hormone therapy, the other gets IBI311, a newer targeted drug. Researchers will compare how well each reduces eye bulging and inflammation. The trial enrolls 64 adults who have not had prior steroid treatment for TAO.
