Doctors watch closely as fluids flow into septic shock patients
NCT ID NCT06500156
Summary
This study aims to understand how the bodies of patients with septic shock use oxygen after they receive intravenous fluids. Researchers will observe 120 patients in intensive care units, measuring their heart function and metabolism before and after a fluid challenge. The goal is to identify patterns that could help doctors better tailor fluid treatments in the future.
