Doctors search for clues to predict sepsis survival
NCT ID NCT07278167
Summary
This study looked at 400 ICU patients with sepsis who were also at risk for malnutrition. Researchers wanted to see if simple nutrition lab tests and body measurements could help predict which patients would survive the first 28 days. The goal was to find early warning signs so doctors could intervene sooner to improve outcomes.
