New study tests High-Tech and Hands-On sensory training for back pain relief

NCT ID NCT07277803

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two types of sensory training—one using a device and one done by hand—against standard physical therapy for chronic low back pain. Researchers want to see if these training methods can reduce pain, improve touch sensitivity, and help people move better. The trial will involve 66 adults aged 25 to 45 who have had back pain for at least 3 months.
