New training sharpens touch to fight back pain

Summary

This study tests whether training the sense of touch can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with chronic low back pain. 66 adults aged 25-45 with persistent pain will be split into three groups: device-based training, manual training, or standard physical therapy. The goal is to see if adding sensory exercises to usual care leads to better pain relief and quality of life.
