Summary
This study tested a 10-week group program called the Sensory Awareness Program (SAP) for people with severe mental health problems and anxiety. The program teaches sensory-based coping strategies to help regulate anxiety without medication. 207 outpatients took part, and the study compared SAP to usual treatment to see if it reduces anxiety at 3 months.
