NCT ID NCT06912854

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests whether a specially designed dental environment with softer lights and sounds can reduce anxiety, pain, and distress during dental cleanings for children aged 6 to 12 who have dental fear. About 312 children will be randomly assigned to a regular dental setting or the adapted one, with some also watching a video to prepare. The goal is to make dental visits easier and less scary for kids.
