Summary

This study tests whether removing aged, worn-out cells can improve physical frailty and stem cell health in 30 adults aged 40-80 with moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease and diabetes. Participants receive a senolytic drug combination, and researchers measure changes in cell aging markers and physical function over 14 days. The goal is to understand if clearing these 'zombie cells' can reduce disease burden, not to cure the condition.
