First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study will observe 460 adults with diabetes who take semaglutide to see if those with nerve damage are more likely to develop a condition called gastric retention, where the stomach doesn't empty properly. Participants will be split into two groups: those with neuropathy and those without. The goal is to understand if nerve damage increases the risk of this side effect during routine endoscopy.
