New study aims to tame blood sugar in High-Risk dialysis patients

Summary
This study is testing if the medication semaglutide can help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes who are receiving dialysis for kidney failure. Researchers will compare weekly injections of semaglutide to a placebo (dummy medicine) in 43 participants over about a year. The main goal is to see if the drug safely increases the amount of time blood sugar stays in a healthy range.
