First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at how taking the drug selumetinib with a low-fat meal affects stomach side effects and drug levels in adolescents (ages 12 to under 18) with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) who have inoperable plexiform neurofibromas. The goal is to find the best way to take the drug to reduce nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea while keeping it effective. About 24 participants will be enrolled to compare taking the drug on an empty stomach versus with food.
