Summary
This study looked at whether a Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) can improve health and reduce doctor visits for African American women with lupus. Nearly 700 women took part. The program teaches skills to manage chronic conditions, and researchers measured things like communication with doctors, pain, fatigue, and mental health.
